The 人文学院 is comprised of the major disciplines of 英语, 历史, 哲学与宗教. Dr. 卡蒂亚Maslakowski
Dr. Bafumiki Mocheregwa
Bafumiki Mocheregwa is an Assistant Professor of 历史 and Fellow at the Dale Center 研究战争的 & 社会. He specializes in general African 历史 and more specifically the 军事历史 of the continent during the era of decolonization. He has previously taught courses at the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. He also serves as the Reviews Editor for the Journal of African Military 历史 (JAMH). Dr. Mocheregwa’s most recent works examine the history of the Botswana Defence Force, the impacts of the Cold War on African decolonization as well as Africa’s response to regional and continental peacekeeping in the modern era. 他也很感兴趣 in US Foreign Policy towards the developing world, the past and modern histories of Black communities in the Americas and the impacts made by African women in the development 他们的大陆. The 人文学院 offers a range of research and creative opportunities for 研究. The philosophy program offers a Pre-Law emphasis degree ideal for students 对法学院感兴趣. The 英语 program, with its emphasis in literary history and analysis, also houses a nationally recognized creative writing program. 历史 offers a full range of history courses along with dynamic studies in war and society, part of the acclaimed 戴尔战争研究中心 and 社会. 学生追求 secondary education in 英语 or Social Studies/历史 take part in school-based learning experiences with practicing teachers and graduates of our programs.
